John Woolman's Walk to Wyalusing 2013

Summary of Walk & Events along the way

6/13 to Slatington - Mostly D & L trail (21mi) Degree of difficulty = 5 Overnight and potluck at Sunflower family farm 

6/14 to Jim Thorpe (16mi) Degree of difficulty = 4 on this weekend, we have reserved a group campsite for 3 nights at Hickory Run State Park; you are welcome to join us, but as in all overnights, please let us know you are planning on coming.

6/15-16 Saturday 15th Lehigh Gorge Trail to Rockport access point. Sunday 16th to Whitehaven. Shuttle back to campsite both days at end of the day. (24.4mi over 2 days) Degree of difficulty = 2 for both days.

6/17 to Mountain Top (13.7mi) Degree of difficulty = 3  Camping at Mountain Top PA Hose Company pavilion.

6/18 to Back Mountain (12.4 + mi) Degree of difficulty = 4 Staying at a private apartment thanks to Friends at North Branch Meeting

6/19-20 to  halfway point to Sugar Run (27.6mi +) Degree of difficulty = 4 both days Shuttle to overnight at Camp Lackawanna/ Endless Mountains Nature Center in Vosburg for 2 overnights.
 Thursday June 20th 7:00pm Public invited to the Woolman Talk and discussion in the Fassett Studio at the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock.

6/21 to Sugar Run Endless Mountain Outfitters (17mi +)  Degree of difficulty = 4

6/22 paddle upstream to Wyalusing Museum Degree of difficulty = 3 depending on current
